People often argue that importance of theoretical knowledge is going down because students are now focusing on getting practical experience by doing internships or start a job in early days of their life. But this thinking is not appropriate because without theoretical knowledge, an individual can attain rapid career growth in his/her life. My name is Elena Tanasa and I want to study business management from Regent College because it is one of the best college in UK and they provide equal importance to both theoretical & practical knowledge at the time of teaching. The course of business management is significant for me because I am running online store which sells products of showers. If I will get information about leadership, innovation and corporate strategy then it will help me in growing my business. Beside this purpose, there is another reason behind doing this course i.e. interest. I want to become an entrepreneur because I am passionate about entrepreneurship. I firmly believe that if a person pursue his/her career in a field of their interest then reaching to a new height become easy for his/her.
Regent college is my first choice because of quality of education which they provide to students. This institution want to teach those students who can use the knowledge gained in college in whatever the job they are doing. I am already running a small business and with that I am also working as an auto instructor since 2013. I will get selected in this college then I will assist this institution in proceeding towards their vision and mission. I found topics like managing innovation, leading and managing change and strategic marketing interesting because they are not outdated and they provide knowledge of real world. I want to enhancing my research ability and critical thinking skills Regent college can help in doing that. If college will teach experienced and passionate student then it will help college in releasing better research papers.
Managing a business in not an easy task but if a person has information about different subject like innovation and leadership, then their ability to handle a problem improves and they become able to deliver surprising results. I want to enhance my business and convert this small enterprise in a multinational company. Gaining theoretical knowledge and certificate from a reputed college is important part of of this whole process. Currently my company is mainly focusing on online sale but in future I want to increase I open physical stores and sell provide products and services from their. Course of business management is best option to me in present scenario and besides in my business, it will also help in my another profession i.e. auto instructor. I am working in my family business i.e. shower business since 2013 but I did not bring any major change in the organisation. As the General manager, it is my responsibility to lead by example and improve myself before asking other to improve themselves. Study of business management is first step of this long term process.
