Introduction
Group presentation is all about presenting something in a group for gaining positive result from faculty members (Mulhern, 2013). However, various authors are identified which plays a very eminent role in assisting distinct people whomsoever are operative in a team. Basically, Tuckman is one of the most famous theory which must prefer while working in a group. Therefore, below assignment is going to focus on individual learning which I learned during presenting a professional presentation by considering necessary data.
Main Body
Theory of Tuckman is used for assisting group members toward corrective path with the help of suitable elements. Throughout my presentation I have observed number of things which is very useful for enhancing my knowledge in order to take part in complex activities. Mainly, this approach consist of various stages such as; storming, norming, forming, performing and adjourning. All these phases helps me in several circumstances like; sometime it may guide to make a positive relations with team members for working in a collaborative environment. Along with this, supports while resolving conflicts which might occur between team mates while having a healthy interaction on specific subject area. One more thing which I gained during entire presentation is that digital technology plays a very eminent role to express the views or understanding in front of others. Therefore, with the use of advanced materials me and my group is participating in various activities for acquiring maximum grade. At the same time, it is observed that it is not easy to work in a group because every member are having their personal opinion, different background, culture, potentiality and so on. Due to lots of distinctive nature sometime I am going through major problem and it may influence the working environment. Along with this, few members get demotivated because of clashes in between various members. On the other hand, few individuals are so much emotional due to that they feel hesitated while expressing their thoughts in front of whole group. Beside all this thing I have learned so much things by taking part in a group presentation that is based on several theories of managing team like; Tuckman, Belbin, Jung personality test and Gibbs circle. Few things which I gained through this presentation is described as follows:-
- Increase my confidence level by involving in expressing my personal opinions and thoughts in front of entire session.
- Improve my personality due to enhancement in knowledge.
- Learned the technique of leading a team and how an individual need to play in a group.
- Make friends.
- Enhance my patience level which helps me in my future project also.
Consequently it has been analysed that while working in a team I can learn numerous things by involving in conversation with other partners. At the same time another thing which I identified that few things act as a major obstacle in success of group presentation such as; inappropriate behaviour of individuals, team players, emergence of misunderstanding between members and so on. As a result all these things hampering the work in various manner like delay the attainment of goal in a defined time frame. In order to minimize these kind of issues our group is trying to conduct a healthy meeting for resolving a certain hidden issues as soon as possible.
Additionally, information acquired through various authors helps several groups by guiding towards their similar objectives. For example; stages of Tuckman plays a very crucial role in enhancing the team members views on working in together. On the other hand, it also aids in maintaining the peaceful environment at workplace by motivating every individual towards professional job role. Meanwhile I have performed numerous of activities in order to make contribution in group presentation such as; gathering relevant information about Tuckman approach for use in project formation. As a result my searching talent is getting improved and learn how to accumulate authentic data from various corrective sources like; websites, newspapers and so on. Along with this, it has been assessed that involving in presentation is highly beneficial for development of individual because it aids in enhancing the overall personality.
Last but not the least, one more thing which is improved in my nature is that in previous time I am a very shy and hesitate to express my opinions due to lack of confidence but after involving in this presentation most of things get improved. For example; in current phase I can easily communicate with others without hesitation and become a very strong person by understanding the truth of life. However, several theories of team teach me the technique of convincing others by creating a positive relations with group members. Therefore, entire presentation is very much advantageous for each or every person involved in this activity in various manner. For instance; aids in reducing expressing abilities, learn the talent of coordinative behaviour as well as how to assist other if they are going towards wrongful path. At the end its all about improving the overall knowledge of mine in a minimum time period.
Conclusion
From the above report it has been summarised that marketing and communication plays a very crucial role in improving the overall personality of group members. However, entire project is showing the learning which is acquired by a person while involving in a group presentation with the help of distinct theories such as; Tuckman, Belbin and so on. Basically, overall report was reflective highlighting the changes which is observed in myself after participating in a team work. Thus, it has been identified performing work in a unit is not an easy task because every member is having different viewpoints towards specific subject area. As a result, I get succeeded in enhnacing my self performance by going through various stages and situtaions that is not easy to manage in suitable manner.
