INTRODUCTION
An act of protecting susceptible adults or children or children from abuse or neglect and also ensuring that people are supported to get good access to health care and stay well. It also involves identification of the adults who may be accessible assessing the needs and working with the individuals and other institutions who help in protecting them from the threats and harms (Lewney and Boland, 2015). The vulnerable people are those individuals who range from those whose decision-making capability is severely impaired, who are not physically stable, or a brief period of illness, these all situations has effected temporarily their ability to protect themselves and their interests. The harms involved in the concept include violent physical and psychological abuse through varieties of personal and financial organizational abuse. The below-presented report is focused on the analysis of the topic of safeguarding vulnerable adults. The objectives of the report are summarised as the risk factors which are the reasons or lead to incidence to abuse and also the impacts of the social and cultural factors on different types of abuse or harm is explained (Dehaghani, 2016).

The individuals or groups may be vulnerable to abuse or neglect due to the risks ascertained in their family or from the environment (Wang and et.al., 2015). It is of very much significant to characterize families because of the presence of specific factors of the risks. Abuse and neglect can occur anywhere in the home of an individual or a public place while getting admitted to a hospital or attending a day centre, or in a college or care home. The person by which harm can be caused can be a stranger to the individual, but more often than not the person is known, and it can be the case that mostly the individual feel safe with them. They are usually in a position of trust and power, such as health and care professionals, relatives or neighbour (Norrie and et.al., 2016).
The people or than individuals who are the age of 18 who, because of disability, age or illness are unable to protect themselves from harm or from being exploited. The below mentioned are the reasons why Mrs.JK and other groups of individuals are vulnerable to abuse or harm to self and others:-
- In the above-stated scenario Mrs.JK is is an elderly 71-year-old person who lives with her son with many physical problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes and depression.
- Individuals who are physically and emotionally weak are more close to being vulnerable to harm and abuse. For example the physically challenged or weak individuals or the children (Redley and et.al., 2015).
- Individuals who are not stable or their mental state is unbalanced and find difficulties in learning things on a normal basis.
- And people with acquired brain damage and also who make misuse of the substances.
