For ensuring better services to the customers various aspects need to be considered such as:

An organisation can sustain in competitive market world for longer period of time when they have an effective management which are more capable to compete with influencing factors which may arises due to business environment which are complex and contingent in nature. Thus, managers plays an important role in success of an organisation along with the leaders as they both are liable to manage and monitor the performance of employees and provide them suitable guidance to work in right direction so as to achieve organisational goals. The present assignment report is based on Hilton Hotel which offers different types of resorts and hotel services in more than 80 countries. It was founded by Conrad Hilton and from till to now, it has operated more than 570 hotels in 85 countries. The project covers the management styles and characteristics of leadership along with the process of communication follow in Hilton. Personal and career development plan for improving the skills of managers has been also discussed under this report (Allegranzi and et. al, 2011).
1.1: Various management style
There are different management styles which need to be adopted by managers in order to carry out business operations in more effective and efficient manner so as to achieve desired goals and objectives. Such management styles includes System theory, classical theory, contingency theory etc. Every management styles has attained own features thus must be used by manager according to the situations arises in environment. Hilton Hotel is such big brands in Hospitality industry as it focuses on providing quality services to the clients in order to maximise their satisfaction level. Management styles adopted by Hilton Hotel are given as below:
Classical management theory: It is the approach which determine the beliefs and needs of employees at workplace which need to be identified by the management in order to bring motivation and confidence among them to perform well. For example, if training needs of employees at workplace are found then the managers are required to conduct training and development programs for them in order to enhance the skills and knowledge so as to improve their performance.
System approach to management: Under this theory, the management are required to identify the impact of different systems used in Hotel and how the management affects the systems around them. As there are various systems are used in Hilton Hotel such as Management Information System (MIS) which is used to store information about the visitors for the purpose of retaining them for longer period of time. It will help manager in contacting with the regular customers on regular basis so as to provide them hospitality services in future as well.
It is such an effective management theories which help in recognising and leveraging the particular patterns that a company's operations follow (Bianchi and et. al., 2011).
Contingency approach: Under this approach, the management should required to analyse the situation that may arise due to business environment which are contingent in nature.
