INTRODUCTION
Employability skills administer knowledge of time management strategies that facilitates in maintaining effectiveness so that targets can be accomplished (Andrews and Russell, 2012). This assignment is based on Care Quality Commission which is a health and social care department of UK. The report includes own set of responsibilities and performance objectives & development of interpersonal and transferable skills. It also defines influence of current lifestyle choices on future needs and development of strategies to solve problems.
TASK 1
1.1 Develop own set of responsibilities & performance objectives
Each person have some responsibilities to managing task in proper way and ensures to deliver quality services. As a part of HSC, main motive of an individual is to administer quality services to its users in order to ensure their well being and safety. Self management should be used by every individual to execute their duties effectively. This assist in determination of skills possessed by individual. These knowledge and capability helps them in grabbing opportunities by the use of strengths. As a HSC part, an individual must ensure that hygiene level is maintained and any unethical practice can not take place. It is also required to treat all the patients equally at workplace.
1.2 Evaluation of own effectiveness against defined objectives
Evaluation of own effectiveness is very necessary at each level against specific criteria so that desired results can be obtained. It administer a clear idea regarding performance and assist in determining training need to improve effectiveness (Durrani and Tariq, 2012). There are some skills that needs to be consider by an individual as a health and social care worker. It includes good interpersonal and communication skills which assist in improving performance and administering better and effective services to users. Best effectiveness evaluation method is to notice the way in which an individual apply their skills and knowledge for performing duties.
1.3 Recommendations for improvement
For improving the effectiveness of performance, various measures need to be adopted. So, some recommendations are defined below:
Adaptability: As nature and behaviour of each individual is different, it influence their adaptability level. As workplace conditions are changing frequently, a firm needs to motivate their manpower for adopting changes effectively so as to administer quality services to users.
Monitoring and feedback: As a HSC worker, monitoring of performance is essential so that effectiveness can be improved. It is needed by an individual to take feedbacks over their performance so that improvements can be made (Jones, 2013).
1.4 Use of motivational technique to improve performance quality
For making performance effective, various motivational techniques can be used. These motivational theory states that an individual have unlimited needs and when one need is satisfied, a new need arise and person moves towards them. They emphasize on fulfilment of those.
